Putt & approach discs are the disc golf discs today that mostly resemble the early disc golf discs as they have a rounded edge, a slower flight and tons of control. Putt & approach discs are mostly used as the last step in getting the discs in the basket, but they can also be used off the tee on shorter holes or for placement shots as they tend not to skip as much as a driver with a more aerodynamic rim.
